This draft standard applies to stone traps in the drinking water installation within buildings with a nominal width of DN 15 to DN 200, a minimum nominal pressure of PN16, a passage width of 1 mm to 1.5 mm and a maximum design temperature of 30 ° C. The draft standard specifies requirements with respect to the design and function of stone scavengers and describes relevant test methods.
