Summary

This standard specifies requirements on carrying out interlaboratory trials for external quality control of laboratories. With respect to the purpose the standard differs from DIN 38402-41 and DIN 38402-42, which are used for quantitative statements about reliability of analytical methods. In this standard requirements are specified for the organizer of interlaboratory trials as well as on planning, carrying out and evaluation of interlaboratory trials for external quality control of laboratories.
