Summary
The document describes a chemical method for the determination of iodide-ions in water and waste water in a range from 0,5 micrograms per litre to 100 micrograms per litre. The iodide-ions catalyse the speed of the oxidation of arsenit-ions with Cer(IV)-ions. The spectrometric determined not exhausted Cer(IV)-ions after a defined reaction time are a value for the concentration of the iodide-ions.
