This method specifies the determination of dissolved sulfide in water and waste water in the concentration range of 0,2 to 20 mg/l sulfide. This method is applicable to the following mass concentration ranges: - 0,2 mg/l bis 2,0 mg/l sulfid; - 2,0 mg/l bis 20 mg/l sulfid. By varying the working conditions (gas transfer enrichment), lower mass concentrations up to 0,02 mg/l sulfide can be achieved. Samples with higher sulfide concentrations of mass have to be brought by dilution in the appropriate range. In order to avoid a loss of sulfide in the sample, an alkaline liquid diluent is used.
