Summary
This standard specifies a method for the determination of selected volatile organic compounds in water (see Table 1). This is for example selected to volatile halogenated hydrocarbons (CHC) as well as gasoline constituents (BTXE, TAME, MTBE and ETBE). The method is applicable to the determination of volatile organic compounds (see Table 1) in drinking water, groundwater base, surface water, and wastewater and drinking water in mass concentrations above 0,05 microliters of water, depending on the individual substance and the amount of the blank.
