Summary
The draft standard specifies requirements to ensure the electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) in motor vehicles. It is dealing with the compatibility of appliances and equipment for vehicles in respect of electrical transient transmission by capacitive and inductive coupling via lines as it occurs due to switching operations, for example. The simulation of such influencing quantities is described. For this purpose a laboratory test method is stated.
