DIN 4107-5:2013-12

This draft standard applies to force measurements on or in geotechnical members in accordance with DIN EN 1997-2 in conjunction with DIN EN 1997-2/NA and DIN 4020 as well as DIN EN 1997-1/NA and DIN 1054. It must be read in conjunction with DIN 4107-1. This draft standard describes methods of measuring forces which involve the permanent installation of force-measurement instruments. The measurement of forces and any changes in those forces is used to check the statistical assumptions and the stability of the geotechnical structure.
