Summary

This standard provides characterisation and rating of aircraft noise for various applications, e. g. relation to specific references and limits, based on measurement at civil airports or areas dominated by aircraft noise. It specifies permanently installed sound monitoring and recording of aircraft noise including measuring systems according to § 19a Luftverkehrsgesetz in terms of § 4 Clause 1 No. 1 and 2 Gesetz zum Schutz gegen Fluglärm.
