The document applies to sound level meters, integrating averaging sound level meters and for sound level measurement equipment for special measurement tasks, particularly for measuring the maximum level in consecutive time intervals or for measuring the statistical level distribution. The application of these additional requirements has to be agreed upon separately. Requirements, inspections and limits of permissible error allow for the expanded measurement uncertainty and follow the specifications of DIN EN 61672-1 and DIN EN 61672-2.
