Measurement of vibration immission - Part 1: Vibration meters - Requirements and tests
Summary
This standard specifies requirements of vibration measuring instrumentation (vibration meter) as well as tests of different extense and precision. These vibration meters are used in vibration immission issues and serve to measure vibration which affect buildings and/or people in buildings. It specifies requirements of frequency and time weightings as basis for determination of evaluation quantities which follow from the specifications in DIN 4150-2 and DIN 4150-3. The requirements can be realised digitally or analoguely in the vibration meter. This standard specifies which tests are at least to be performed by the manufacturer, user or on their behalf in order to verify fulfillment of the requirements of the vibration meter. Additionally it specifies which information is to be given in the documentation of the several tests. If this standard is referred to in the accreditation of test or consulting institutions in the area of vibration immission in connection with DIN 45688 and DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 it only applies to the instrumentation. Specification of the measuring procedure and the transducer coupling are given in DIN 45669-2. The assessment of the measured values with regard to vibration immission is not dealt with (for that aim, see DIN 4150-2 and DIN 4150-3). However, Annex E gives a method by means of which the assessment according to DIN 4150-3 can be automatically done.
