Summary
This document defines terms, describes the basic principles of the measurements, classifies the resilient elements of railway tracks and describes the test procedures in general. Numbers for the test procedure of specific resilient elements are given in subsequent parts of this standards series. The type testing yields static and dynamic values which enable comparability of such vibration reducing elements and which can be used for evaluation of their efficiency.
