DIN 45679:2013-02

This standard is applicable to measuring coupling forces and to evaluating the coupling-dependent vibration exposure of the hand-arm system in the workplace. It establishes the requirements for measuring instrumentation, in order to register the coupling forces exerted during operation of hand-held and hand-guided machines and control levers. Furthermore, the procedure for measuring the coupling forces is described. It can be applied as a supplement to the currently valid standards for measuring and assessing hand-arm exposure to vibration.
