Oil controls for vaporizing burners - Part 2: Additional specifications for controls with complementary devices; Safety requirements and testing
Summary
In addition to the conventional use for vaporizing oil burners in oil stoves and water heaters today oil controls are used as well in combination with other devices, e.g. temperature cut offs with manual reset, for heat generators which are subject to safety requirements on a higher level due to other standards or legal prescriptions. These are the oil controls as specified in the standard, with complementary devices which perform a function almost on the level of a safety shut-off valve in combined action with the control's closure member.
