Summary

The test is carried out in order to determine the percentage reduction of area Z after fracture with test-pieces, which are taken from the flat product in the direction of thickness. For this purposes the test piece is strained to fracture by tensile force. If the thickness of the product is >= 20 mm, the upper yield stress ReH and the tensile strenght Rm can be additionally determined by agreement.
