Summary
This standard defines a test method for the determination of the adhesion of hot dip galvanized zinc coating. The method is available for coating thicknesses up to 150 µm. It is a modification of the piviot hammer test of ASTM A 123-78. In the opposite of the ASTM-method the test-apparatus of DIN 50978 is applicable in different positions.
