This standard establishes a system for cataloging defects at thin-film coats and represents the defects by figures. It covers using of uniform terminology regarding designation and characterization of these defects. This standard is only restricted to sensible defects and does not completely consider all types of defects may be occured. The defects are not evaluated, the clasification performed only serves job rotation.
