Summary

This standard describes a method of test for determining the stiffening effect of adding filler to bitumen. The softening points ring and ball for the reference bitumen and for filler/bitumen mixes with different values of filler/bitumen ratio by mass are measured. The stabilization index and the increase in the softening point ring and ball for the filler/bitumen ratio by mass of 65/35 are determined from a graph.
