Summary

This standard applies to the testing of bitumen and polymer bitumen sheeting. Methods are specified for the testing of outer quality and impregnation, thickness, content of soluble matter, weight per unit area of the inlay particle distribution of the covering solid material, contents of the mineral filling material in the covering bitumen, impermeability of water, maximal tension force and elongation, behaviour under deep temperatures and resistance against high temperatures.

Notes

A transition period, as set out in DIN EN 1849-1 (2000-01), exists until 2001-09-01.
