The document specifies a test method for determination of air permeance according to Bendtsen . The method may be applied to testing paper and board with medium rate of air permeability between between 0,1 micrometers/(Pa x s) und 56,7 micrometers/(Pa x s). The method is unsuitable for rough and creped oder corrugated papers and board, as it cannot be ruled out, that there is a lateral leak of air in the clamping fixture between the sample surrface and the sealing ring.
