Testing of paper and board - Determination of chloride content in aqueous extracts

Summary

The standard contains the determination of the chloride content in aqueous extracts of paper and board of hot extraction. The method is not applicable to paper for electrical insulation. After filtration of the extract the chloride content will be determined with potentiometric titration in a aqueous solution of silver nitrate.
