This test method for articles for common use according to resistance to spittle is to be used for those coloured articles, that are usually taken into the mouth or where it is predictable that they will be taken into the mouth or get into contact with mucous membranes during usage. This standard is not valide for articles, parts of which provide colourants as agreed.
