This standard is applicable to the determination of the bonding strength of laminations in blockboard and laminboard and in shuttering boards by a mechanical groove test. The chopping test can be applied to determine the bonding strength of laminations in laminated veneer lumber (LVL), veneer plywood, solid wood panels and cross laminated timber (CLT) if not specified in European Standards.
