Summary
Part 2 of this standard describes the requirements for ordnance detectors common for the detection of metallic objects, primarily defined by the shell and additional components of the ordnance. Metal detectors use active electro-magnetic-induction techniques, that allow to sense local anomalies in the surrounding, caused by objects with different conductivity compared to the surrounding soil.
