DIN 5422:2018-09

This standard defines a procedure for inspection of technical cleanliness for rolling bearings. It describes in particular measuring methods, measuring techniques and requirements for calibration. The standard is applicable for all rotating rolling bearings and their individual parts. It is not applicable for linear motion rolling bearings. All information on products and devices only serve as information for the user of this National Standard and are not to be considered as recognition of the standard by DIN. Equivalent products and devices may be used if they verifiably produce the same results.
