DIN 54388:2015-01

This standard specifies a method of determining the water-soluble chloride, sodium and potassium contents of waste-derived solid materials using the liquid obtained by the press method. It applies to solid substitute fuels, solid recovered fuels, biofuels, light packaging, fluff-light fractions, high calorific fractions, biologically treated waste or deposits, paper, cardboard, plastics and textiles and to solid materials of low bulk density, in general. The method can only be used with compressible materials.
