Summary
The document applies to the use of desiccants in bags in accordance with DIN 55473 in packages made of packaging materials with a low water vapour transmission or with a layer which is impermeable to water. The desiccant shall protect the content during transport and storage in different climates. The purpose of this document is to fix uniform calculation methods in order to determine the number of necessary desiccant units.
