The document gives necessary specifications for the application of lightshow-lasers and lightshow-laser systems where, by means of laser radiation or similar types of optical radiation, lighting effects for entertainment, display, artistic or advertising purposes are created for use for instance on stage or in discotheques, either indoors or outdoors, either permanently installed or in and on vehicles respectively. It applies for lightshow lasers comprising laser devices of all classes except for classes 1 and 2 as defined in DIN EN 60825.
