DIN 58300:2014-02

DIN 58300 applies to surgical instruments. In standards concerning particular instruments the respective joint is specified by indicating the standard designation. Thereby there are also assigned the joint length l for instruments with box joints and the thread d1 and head diameter d2 for instruments with bolted joints. The remaining dimensions of the joint shown in this standard are given directly at the instrument in the corresponding instrument standard. A correlation between these dimensions as recommended for standardized and non-standardized instruments is given in this standard.
