DIN 58356-1:2005-01

The project serves for the characterization of the bacteria challenge test of membrane filter elements in flat and pleated as well as hollow fibre form for the filtration of fluids with the nominal pore size of 0,2 mikrometer. The test is carried out by use of test bacterium Brevundimonas diminuta ATCC-stem No 19146 (ATCC: American Type Culture Collection) or DSM-stem 1635 (German Collection of Microorganism and Cell cultures).
