Summary
The document applies to the evaluation classes of the MIC values which have been determined in vitro during susceptibility testing of antimicrobial pathogens. The requirements, i.e. the criteria to be followed, for the assessment of the in vitro activity and break point determination of antimicrobial agents are defined in DIN 58940-1. The aim of this document is to achieve a uniform evaluation of the minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC).
