DIN 58956-2:1986-01

This standard concerns the equipment of medical microbiological laboratories according to DIN 58956 part 1 where bacteriological, mycological, virological or parasitological examinations are made.*It fixes the minimum requirements for the equipment of these laboratories with the apparatus and working means and by that it establishes uniformal conditions for the professional execution of medical microbiological examinations to secure a comparability and reproducibility of the results of the examinations.*The safety requirements shall prevent the propagation and spreading of micro-organisms. By that it protects people, animals and the environment against infections.
