Summary
This standard applies to microbiological urine tests for the detection of rapidly growing bacteria which can be cultured aerobically and yeasts. It it not applicable to the detection of mycobacteria, mycoplasma, chlamydia, leptospira, obligatory anaerobically growing bacteria, excitants of venereal infections, other fungi, parasites and viruses.
