The document applies to combined heat and power systems (CHPS) with reciprocating internal combustion engines for generating a.c. current and usable heat. It applies to single and multiproduction CHPS-modules. It lays down common definitions and requirements which for the preparation and realisation of tests of CHPS-modules in order to achieve common evaluation procedures. Differenciation is made between type tests and acceptance tests (multi-production and ready for use CHPS-modules) and acceptance tests (single production CHPS-modules).
