The functional safety of aircraft and space vehicles mainly depends on the configuration and installation of fluid conveying pipings. They serve for the control of the vital elements of a flying vehicle e.g. nose and main landing gear, control surface, flaps and as supply pipings for fuel, oxygen and other fluids.*Therefore, greatest care must be taken when designing, manufacturing and assemblying fluid pipings.*Deviations from this standard shall be specified in the design specifications.
