DIN 65208:2016-11

This standard applies to screws for testing of locking torques in accordance with DIN 65349 with self-locking nuts and bolts and similiar fasteners with MJ thread according to DIN ISO 5855-1 and DIN ISO 5855-2. Screws according to this standard have to be used for qualification and serial testing, if this standard is referenced in product standards or other technical related documents. The test bolts have to be used by manufacturers of internal threaded parts as well as by the user of the fasteners in order to test the self locking torque.
