Summary

Hexagon nuts according to this standard shall be used for connections with screws and bolts having a nominal tensile strength of <= 1100 MPa. Hexagon nuts with surface treatment to code letter D are intended for use at temperatures up to 315 °C and hexagon nuts with surface treatment to code letter U at temperatures up to 425 °C.
