This standard specifies the characteristics of anchor nuts with MJ thread, deep counterbore, self-locking, two lug, reduced, corrosion-resisting steel used together with screws and bolts of kleiner gleich 1100 MPa nominal tensile strength for temperatures up to 315 °C with surface treatment according to code letter D and those for temperatures up to 425 °C with surface treatment according to code letter U for aerospace applications.
