DIN 65356-2:1988-11

This standard applies to aramid filament yarns with a high modulus of elasticity and high strength in accordance with DIN 65356 part 1. Aramid filament yarns are used for the manufacture of semi-finished products and for reinforcing metal, plastic and ceramic parts. The starting material is polyparaphenylene terephthalamide to produce high tenacity aramid fibres by wet spinning and stretching.
