DIN 65427-2:1991-09

This standard applies to fabrics according to DIN 65427 part 1 made of high modulus filament yarn on the basic of aromatic polyamide. High modulus filament yarn in the meaning of this standard shall have a tensile modulus (initial modulus) greater than 100 kN/mm2 when tested for maximum tensile strength in accordance with DIN 53816. The fabrics shall be washed out and may be equipped with a coupling agent. They are used for the mechanically reinforcing plastics, as filler for coatings, impregnations and backing, and for other special applications.
