DIN 65546:2005-10

This standard specifies the characteristics of nuts, bihexagonal with flange and MJ thread, deep counterbore, self-locking, corrosion-resisting-steel used together with titanium screws and bolts of £ 1100 MPa nominal tensile strength and with corrosion-resisting steel screws and bolts of 1250 MPa nominal tensile strength for temperatures up to 315 °C with surface treatment according to code letter D and those for temperatures up to 425 °C, only subjected to shear loads and not subjected to tensile loads, with surface treatment according code letter U for aerospace applications.
