DIN 66160:2017-02

This standard deals with terminology used in the analysis of disperse materials, irrespective of their composition. Its aim is to promote understanding and to bring together the terminology currently found in standards and other publications in this field in a single Standard. The standard does not include any terminology regarding the characterization of disperse systems, sampling and sample division. Reference should be made to DIN 55350-14 and DIN 55350-21 to DIN 55350-23, for those topics. Nor does the standard deal with terminology only used in the industrial separation of disperse materials (see DIN 66142-3).
