DIN 6623-1:2016-10

This draft standard is applicable to single wall vertical steel tanks for the above ground storage of flammable and not flammable liquids hazardous and not hazardous for water, which compatibility with the tank material is proven according to DIN 6601. The tanks are suitable for the storage of liquids not exceeding a density of 1,9 kg/l. The tanks may be operated with an internal overpressure not exceeding 50 kPa (0,5 bar) and an internal negative pressure not exceeding 5 kPa (0,05 bar). Loads resulting from earthquakes and flooding are not considered in this draft standard.
