DIN 66348-1:1986-09

This standard applies to data communication using start-stop transmission in the filed of metrology. It embraces specifications concerning the layers 1 and 2 of the basic reference model according to ISO 7498: electrical characteristics either according to CCITT V.11 or a 20mA current loop, whose values are specified here, and basic data link control procedures for start-stop transmission in three different expensive ways, wherely the most expensive one conforms to DIN 66258 part 2.
