This document specifies the measurement and classification of phosphorescent pigments and the resulting phosphorescent products of the manufacturer, applied for the marking of emergency escape routes and dangerous areas, in buildings, underground traffic routes, aviation and shipping, for marking of equipment, fittings, utensils, work and safety clothing. This document specifies a number of conditions for the testing of the luminance as a function of time and for the marking of the tested phosphorescent products.
