DIN 68755-2:2000-06

The document is applicable to factory-made wood fibre products which are used in the form of boards or rolls for impact sound insulation in buildings (impact sound insulation products). These products can also improve the thermal insulation and in combination with a floating floor they can improve the airborne sound insulation. The document is also applicable to multilayer and composite wood fibre products and wood fibre products with facings and/or coating and/or profiles. The document is not applicable to products which are exclusively used for thermal insulation purposes. Wood fibre products for this purpose are specificed in DIN 68755-1.
