Summary

This standard specifies for wood species beech, oak and pine the specific parameters for the pressure impregnation of prefabricated railway sleepers with creosotes (CAS-Nr. 8001-58-9) according to DIN 13991. This standard is a complement to DIN EN 13145 and only applies when wood railway sleepers are to be impregnated with creosote (coal tar oil).
