This standard applies to cup hinges and their mounting plates and similar single-axle and multiple-joint hinges which can be installed in furniture. It specifies requirements and test methods for long-lived products oriented on need and application. Testing of performance and safety is carried out on a reference particle board. Strength values in combination with other materials shall not be deduced.
