Summary

The document is applicable to circular glass-to-metal fused sight glasses with the sight glass fused into a steel ring. These can be used in flange cases according to DIN 28120 or in straight pattern valves with circular sight glasses according to DIN 3237-1. The installation dimensions of the sight glasses according to DIN 7079-1 are consistent to the dimensions according to DIN 7080 and DIN 8902. Circular glass-to-metal fused sight glasses according to this standard can also be used in circular sight glasses according to DIN 28121.
