DIN 7168-2:1986-07

The standard specifies general geometrical tolerances in 4 tolerance classes. By the selection of a defined tolerance class the respective customary workshop accuracy must be taken into consideration. According to the specifications in this standard the tolerance class is to be indicated into the title block of a drawing and it applies to all features having no specific tolerance indication. The standard is intended to simplify drawings. *An ISO-standard on this subject is under preparation in ISO/TC 3 (ISO/DP 2768 part 2).
