Summary

This document specifies the dimensions and the designations for single-row metric tapered roller bearings with the same main dimensions as stated in ISO 355. Since, however, only the dimensions which conform with the general plan for the boundary dimensions in DIN 616 were taken from ISO 355 and moreover other designations than the ISO designations are used in DIN standards, DIN 720 is required as an independent standard next to ISO 355.
